Dancing Feet Yoga’s Yoga Teacher Training begins in May
Dancing Feet Yoga Center (DFYC) in New Buffalo, Michigan begins its 2008 eight month Teacher Training program on May 2. The curriculum is designed to deepen participant’s yoga education while imparting precise teaching techniques and confidence. Students are also taught to adapt yoga to fit the needs of individuals and groups in any environment. "Ultimately, the program is a journey of self-exploration and transformation to find the roots of your own yoga," says DFYC owner and teacher Don Wenig.
Weekend classes convene one weekend a month. Upon completion of the requirements, students will receive a certification (200 hour) from Dancing Feet Yoga, meeting the 180 contact hour standards set forth by the Yoga Alliance. Each weekend workshop is a complete course of study and may be taken independently from the certification program.
